When I Grow Up...

This last week JT told me that when he grows up things are going to be different in his family. He said his family is going to be opposite of ours. I asked him how.

JT - "I'm going to stay home with my kids while my wife goes to work."

Mom- "Oh, so are you going to cook the dinners and do the housework?"

JT- "Well, I could probably call my wife and see when she is cooking dinner so I can come home to help her."

Mom- "Where are you going to be?"

JT- "I'm going to take my kids all the fun places that I've been."

And I'm thinking "where has this child been?"

Easter Egg Hunt

That Michigan Easter bunny sure does know how to do an egg hunt. She was pretty generous with the treats!

Park time in Michigan

Brrrr.. The park was fun in Michigan but you do need some gloves to keep your fingers warm. Grandma lended hers to Nate while he was swinging. I'm not sure if he was entertained more with the gloves or the actual swinging. Probably both.

Easter with Grandma and Papa

We went to visit Grandma and Papa over spring break. It was a delight for us to see them again. We colored eggs and the Easter bunny came to their home! Nate warmed right up to them since he was only 8 months old when he last saw them.
